Ambassador Stevens Dragged from the Consulate

On September 11, 2012, the eleventh anniversary of the 9-11-01 terror attacks on the U.S., the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, Libya was attacked resulting in the death of four U.S. Citizens, including the capture, brutal rape and murder of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens.

This brief is prepared on the basis of official cable communications between the Benghazi Consulate and numerous members of the Obama Administration including Secretary of State Clinton and numerous undersecretaries, the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice and the White House.

These noted cable communications throughout this editorial and those un-included were sent during the time frame of September 2011 through the date of the attacks in September 2012.

The cables evidence a yearlong concerted effort by U.S. officials in Benghazi to report increasing terror threats and gain additional security for the Benghazi Embassy and our foreign diplomats.

Among other significant items, the documents at the core of this summary demonstrate the following for you to decide:

1.) In August of 2011 – President Obama’s Administration acted without congressional oversight or authority to destabilize the Middle East and topple foreign governments, in this report, Libya, interrupting all economic, agricultural and energy supply lines in the entire region and causing widespread civil unrest.

2.) The unprovoked deposing of the Gadhafi government in Libya resulted in the closing of the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli and the establishment of a temporary consulate in Benghazi, which did not at any time, seem to meet standard security protocol.

3.) Following the fall of the Gadhafi government, the Administration allowed alleged foreign terrorists from Somalia, Pakistan, Iraq and other neighboring states to enter Libya, recruit, train and deploy Al Qaeda terrorists within local militia groups, armed with both small and large shoulder-fired weapons, some supplied by the Administration.

4.) That the Obama Administration allowed the Muslim Brotherhood in control of Libya, and known terror Libyan group Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) in control of the Libyan Military and militias operating in Tripoli, which had been shut down under Gadhafi as a known affiliate of Al Qaeda.

5.) That beginning in September of 2011, approximately one year before the September 2012 terrorist attacks on U.S. Embassies, officials in Benghazi started alerting the Obama Administration officials that there was a rising organized terror threat targeting U.S. interests that required additional security at the Benghazi installation.

6.) That before March of 2012, Benghazi was requesting at least 5 more security agents. That despite numerous reports of increasing terror threats and pleas for additional security at the Benghazi compound, the Obama Administration apparently refused additional security and reduced security at the Benghazi installation. Warnings of organized terror threats had become critical, supported by U.S. Intelligence by June and July 2012.

7.) That before June and July of 2012, pleas for additional security under a deteriorating situation on the ground in Libya had become shrill. Yet, the Benghazi compound was left to rely only upon local Libyan militia groups for compound security. The same militia groups that included members of known terror organizations, specifically including Islamic Maghreb and Al Qaeda operatives, as reported to the Obama Administration by consulate officials on numerous occasions.

8.) That by August 2012, the situation had become critical, causing Ambassador Chris Stevens to issue yet another plea for immediate increased security to protect American diplomats in Benghazi, which was once again ignored by the Obama White House and State Department. Benghazi officials started copying numerous Obama agencies in on the cables, in search of someone who would listen.

9.) That on September 4, 2012, seven days before the deadly attacks on the Benghazi consulate, Ambassador Stevens issued a MAXIMUM ALERT to the Obama Administration agencies concerning the imminent threat of terror attacks coming from inside the new Libyan government, military, police and the same militia groups they were forced to rely upon for consulate security.

10.) That the Obama Administration had been warned for twelve months in advance that the situation in Libya was deteriorating to the degree that those officials in Benghazi no longer felt safe and desperately needed additional security. Pleas that Obama officials denied repeatedly all the way up to days before the attacks.

11.) That the cables demonstrate in part that the Obama Administration knew that there was an increasing threat, that it was an organized terrorists threat, that it was planned in advance, that it was well funded and armed in part by the U.S. State Department, that the consulate was a sitting duck with inadequate security falling well below standard security protocol and that the events of September, 2012 had apparently nothing to do with an obscure YouTube video.

12.) That the Obama Administration allegedly failed to react to repeated warnings all the way up to the day of the attacks, and that even as those cables were pouring into administration officials begging for help, administration officials were knowingly creating a cover story concerning an obscure YouTube video in an effort to escape responsibility for the deaths of American officials.

13.) That on the day of the 2012 Embassy attacks, additional warnings were pouring in from installations in Tripoli and other places, while Ambassador Stevens was being beaten, raped, murdered and dragged through the streets of Libya.

14.) That the cables prove that the Obama Administration may be directly and criminally responsible for the events that unfolded on the eleventh anniversary of 9-11-01 and that they took specific actions to leave the Benghazi consulate vulnerable, and then created a cover story in an effort to escape administrative responsibility.

15.) That the Administration allowed two weeks to pass following the attacks, along with the degrading of physical evidence before putting the F.B.I. on the ground in Benghazi to investigate, during which time administration officials continued to tell the American people a known lie, that the attacks were not terror related and were not planned and were not organized and were the result of an obscure YouTube video when in fact, it was a highly predictable outcome to official administration policies and decisions.

16.) That DS agents were deployed to cover the Pan American games during the same time frame that Benghazi officials were requesting 5 more agents and denied more than 2 DS agents to protect a 13 acre compound in the middle of Obama¡¦s Middle East meltdown.

17.) That despite administration claims of limited State Department funding, the State Department was operating with the largest budget in history and resources were simply being used for political purposes rather than the safety and security of our foreign diplomats.

18.) That on September 4, 2012, a final plea for immediate additional security at Benghazi was most likely sent to State Secretary Clinton, the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Energy, Homeland Security, the F.B.I, the C.I.A., Arab Israel Collective, the Department of Commerce, Africom and the African Union Collective. Benghazi officials had become desperate to get help from somewhere. Stevens was killed seven days later.

19.) That Ambassador Stevens, along with three fellow U.S. officials in Benghazi died a brutal death as a direct result of Obama administration policies and decisions and that the administration continues a cover up effort even today.

The cables used to evidence these facts include more than a hundred pages of cable communications between Benghazi and Obama Administration officials. These cables demonstrate that there was no confusion over what was happening in Libya leading up to and including the attacks of September 2012, and no fog of war concerning the nature of the attacks that Benghazi officials had tried for months to warn the Obama administration about.

All involved Obama officials well aware that the events of September 2012 were organized and planned, terrorist assaults on U.S. Embassies in Benghazi and beyond, having nothing whatsoever to do with an obscure YouTube video. Still, alleged misrepresentation continued from Obama administration officials.

The Washington Times is reporting that Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, the 55-year-old filmmaker
responsible for the anti-Muslim video that President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice initially and wrongly blamed for inciting the deadly terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, is still being held at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) without bond.

Despite recent acknowledgements by the Obama administration, that the YouTube film had little or nothing to do with September 2012 events, the filmmaker was sentenced to a year in jail.

Overview and Conclusions

They Knew About Benghazi and the Murder of Ambassador Stevens – They Had to Have Known

In final analysis of the cables between Benghazi and Obama administration officials, one can safely conclude that the events of September 11, 2012 were entirely predictable and avoidable.

The Obama administration acted beyond its authority, without congressional advice or consent and in violation of the War Powers Act, in unilaterally attacking the foreign sovereign nation of Libya and deposing the Libyan government without any provocation.

In doing so, they destabilized an entire region of the world known as a hotbed of terrorists organizations and anti-Western sentiment, elevating known terror organization the Muslim Brotherhood’s control of numerous Middle Eastern states, interrupting economic, energy and agricultural supply lines igniting unrest across the region.

The Obama administration left our foreign embassies unguarded as sitting ducks as repeated reports of increasing violence and threat poured in over and over again, from across the Middle East and in particular, Benghazi.

In the end, the Obama administration appears as the worlds greatest supporter of Islamic Terror operations, toppling sovereign governments in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Lebanon and Pakistan. The region is hot with numerous terror organizations and Al Qaeda in particular has reconstituted full operations in all of these states and beyond.

Dedicated officials in Benghazi had gone out of their way for twelve months, especially during the weeks leading up to the attacks, to advise Obama officials of increased destabilization in the region, resulting in increasing organized terror threats to U.S. interests in Libya and beyond.

Obama officials had advance knowledge that terror attacks were imminent because several attacks had previously been enacted and did little or nothing to protect American diplomats and employees. Obama administration officials failed to properly respond to those reports of increased threat by increasing location security or by removing U.S. officials from danger.

The death and destruction was entirely avoidable. There appears to be no failure of intelligence or on the ground reporting. There was no fog of war in trying to understand the events of September 2012, after months of warnings from Benghazi officials.

Further, the administration was fully aware of the true nature of these attacks and chose to mislead the American people by advancing a cover story regarding an obscure YouTube film, while failing to put F.B.I. investigators on the ground for two weeks following the attacks.

The Obama administration has arrested and jailed the YouTube filmmaker without apparent just cause and continues to silence the filmmaker. Administration officials remain on-record repeating false statements regarding these events as of today.

The cables at the center of this brief provide evidence of massive incompetence at a minimum.

They may in fact evidence criminal wrong-doing that could rise to the level violating American interests here and abroad.

This summary brief was prepared for the sole purpose of making public, the truth about President Obama’s Foreign Policy and decision making and the deadly consequences that followed in Benghazi.

Readers of this summary are encouraged to read the subject cables and draw their own conclusions.

This is not how America should do business around the world.

It is certainly no way to protect the men and women of our diplomatic corps, who risk their lives to advance freedom and liberty abroad and provide for a peaceful and stable world.

Hundreds of criminal illegals secretly released by the Obama DHS by Jim Kouri

On the same day that Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano announced that she will travel to San Francisco and Los Angeles, Calif., on Friday to meet with technology and business leaders to discuss the need for commonsense immigration reform, a report was released on Thursday that revealed hundreds of criminal aliens were surreptitiously released from detention.

According to officials with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), hundreds of illegal aliens with criminal records for offenses committed in the U.S. were secretly released earlier this year with the rationale that the Obama DHS is preparing to cut ICE’s budget, according to ICE data released on Thursday in the midst of three scandals that were “sucking up the oxygen” in most newsrooms.

The ICE data reveals that Secretary Napolitano’s claim that the releases involved detainees who committed non-violent crimes is just not accurate, said former NYPD detective Manuel Ortega-Sanchez.

According to Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., ICE released the figures to him only after officials there were threatened with subpoenas and other legal action.

According to ICE, 2,226 detainees were released in Februrary and more than 620 of them had criminal convictions.

A statement from Sen. McCain’s and Sen. Carl Levin, D-MI, said that at lease 32 of illegal aliens released had committed multiple felonies. McCain reported that ICE agents captured 24 of those released after realizing the severity of their criminal offenses.

At the time, Homeland Security Department officials said the decision was made in order to stay within budget. Those detainees released were still said to face deportation and be under supervision. But administration officials downplayed the threat they might pose after leaving the local immigration jails.

In late February, Obama’s Press Secretary Jay Carney made a statement that turns out to be untrue: “As ICE made clear, the agency released these low-risk, non-criminal detainees under a less expensive form of monitoring to ensure detention levels stayed within ICE’s overall budget.”

“Carney has always been truth-challenged in his capacity as President Obama’s mouthpiece. The man should be ashamed of himself,” said Det. Ortega-Sanchez.

The offenses committed by the released criminal aliens includes driving under the influence, menacing, and vandalism of private property. Others were convicted of illegal possess of a firearm, possession of drugs with the intent to sell, burglary, robbery and grand larceny.

All through George W. Bush’s two terms, the Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi and others claimed that they represented “a culture of corruption” and yet I cannot recall any significant examples, nor does a look back at those years reveal any scandals resulting from his administration’s governance. It was not perfect, but it was not corrupt.

This term, however, marked Barack Obama’s first term and now his second which is currently imploding from a confluence of scandals involving Benghazi-Gate, the Internal Revenue Service, and the Department of Justice. Let’s not forget “Fast and Furious.”

The very first example of the changes that would mark his administration was the announcement of Obama’s “czars”, a shadowy group of advisors whose power to set and influence government policy without any congressional oversight appears to have transcended that of his cabinet members, many of whom would contribute to lengthening the recession he “inherited” as the result of the 2008 financial crisis while increasing the national debt and deficit to heights never before seen in the history of the nation.

What we have come to learn in his first term was that Obama had scant regard for the Constitution, the guiding instrument of governance. It was in his view an “imperfect” instrument and yet, with amendments, it has guided the nation to superpower status since its ratification in 1791, a process that took four years from the 1786 Annapolis Convention that called for a Constitutional Convention.

What we learned through is first campaign and first term was that Obama lies about everything, starting with his personal life. What we have learned is that his answer to everything is to give another speech, hold another press conference, issue another executive order, and to dismiss any criticism as “a sideshow”, and to host a number of dinners to give the impression he is willing to work with Republicans in Congress. In truth, he rarely interacted even with Democrats in Congress.

In short, Obama has never addressed his duty to govern. He has instead maintained a non-stop process of campaigning and fund-raising.

It did not work in 2010 when voters returned power to the Republicans in the House and now he is doing everything he can to regain Democrat control there in 2014.

His priority on September 11, 2012, the night in which he was informed of the attack on the Benghazi consulate in Libya, was to go to bed in order to get a good night’s sleep before flying off to Las Vegas for more fund-raising the next day, skipping his daily intelligence briefing. An American ambassador had been killed along with three other personnel, but it did not alter his schedule.

This is a President who spent his entire first term blaming his predecessor, George W. Bush, for every problem that crossed his desk and demanded his attention.

This is a President whose foreign policy in the Middle East failed to address events there while delegating responsibility to his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton who as of 2 AM the morning of September 12^th knew that it was an orchestrated attack by al Qaeda. And then, in concert with the White House, told Americans that it was the result of a video and was a “spontaneous” event.

This is a President who has withdrawn U.S. troops from Iraq, a nation now wracked with daily bombings and has set in process the withdrawal from Afghanistan, a nation that will fall once again under the control of the Taliban. The alleged ally of America, Pakistan, now fears for its stability from the same threat. Both wars, the longest since the Vietnam War, were and remain unpopular, but both were intended to reduce the role of al Qaeda in the Middle East. That role has now expanded into the Syrian civil war and was manifest in Mali.

His response was to depend on isolated drone attacks in Yemen and elsewhere, and of course his authorization of the assassination of Osama bin Laden for which he took total credit despite the fact that the effort had begun in the Bush years.

In the years prior to Benghazi-Gate we have now learned that Obama was using the Internal Revenue Service to harass organizations associated with the Tea Party movement, that identified themselves as “patriots”, or had a pro-Israel agenda. In a similar fashion his Environmental Protection Agency was denying Freedom of Information inquires to organizations opposed to its policies while granting access to those who supported it.

In his first term, his Department of the Interior pursued policies that denied access to drilling for oil and natural gas on federally owned lands and while his Department of Energy wasted billions on “renewable energy” companies manufacturing solar panels no one wanted to purchase, going bankrupt one after another. At one point the President advocated using algae—pond scum—as a source of energy.

This is a President who promised his “stimulus” program would put Americans back to work and revive the economy.

This is a President who has continued to tell Americans that global warming is the greatest threat to the nation and the world despite a sixteen-year cooling cycle in progress.

The current scandals, derided as being “politicized” by Republicans, suggest that impeachable offenses have been authorized and committed by branches of the administration he leads. The current makeup of Congress in which the Senate is still controlled by Democrats suggests that impeachment would be difficult to pursue, but the 2014 midterm elections could and should change that.

The worst of his offenses is Obamacare, described by members of his own party as “a train wreck”, and a program to be administered by the IRS!

It is not hyperbole to say Barack Obama is the worst President in the history of the nation.

• Ask the millions of Americans who are still unemployed more than four years since his first inauguration.
• Ask the millions of new graduates from colleges and universities who cannot find jobs commensurate with their degrees.
• Ask the millions of Americans unable to retire due to the agonizingly slow recovery of the economy.
• And ask the mainstream media, after years of ignoring his failures have suddenly awakened to the seizure of Associated Press phone records after acting as mere stenographers for his daily “talking points.”

The question is how long before he is either impeached or forced to resign as the dream of “hope and change” has turned to hopelessness and the change has become the “transformation” of America from the greatest economy the world has ever known to a debtor nation disrespected by allies and enemies alike.

IRS scandal increases concerns over Obamacare management, says Senator by Jim Kouri

As the IRS scandal metastasizes, Senator Tom Coburn, R-Okla., appearing on Your World with Neil Cavuto on the Fox News Channel on Wednesday afternoon told the show’s audience that he and other Republicans have serious reservations about the Internal Revenue Service managing Obamacare.

Sen. Coburn told Cavuto that hearings in both houses of the U.S. Congress must probe the reliability of the IRS to manage a program that’s one-sixth of the U.S. economy and that will make decisions on something as important as citizens’ health care.

“President Obama and his minions may believe the Benghazi hearings are a ‘sideshow,’ but the real sideshow in the IRS scandal is the prospect of having thousands of agents controlling America’s health care system. How can they be trusted? Should they be trusted?” asked attorney and political consultant Mike Baker.

According to the director of the IRS’ department overseeing tax-exempt organizations, Lois Lerner, employees at an IRS office in Ohio began a probe of organizations using the terms “patriot” or “Tea Party.” IRS agents conducted politically-motivated reviews during the 2012 elections, including the presidential race, to see if conservative groups applying for 501(c) 3 status were in violation of tax-exempt regulations

As time passed, the IRS activities became a scandal on the level of Benghazi and Fast and Furious, two episodes that continue to cast a shadow over the Obama White House.

President Barack Obama’s health care law, although thousands of pages, was hastily created and frantically pushed through the House and Senate by Democratic majorities before many even had a chance to read its contents, according to Baker.

“That law is now being implemented—and has raised serious concerns about big government intrusion into American’s private lives,” said Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

The Committee examined how the IRS is implementing the Affordable Health Care Act, a/k/a Obamacare, and the consequences for Americans. The Oversight Committee addressed concerns about the “big brother process” it will create, the legality of rules it will enforce and the sacrosanct privacy of personal information once held only by the IRS but now share with state exchanges.

The lawmakers also reviewed the biggest spending item within Obamacare – its complicated subsidy scheme and the assessment of the challenges the IRS faces with implementation.

“Under Obamacare, taxpayers will have to provide within 30 days, notification to a government agency about key information in their lives: did they get a raise or take another job; did a family member move into the household; were they married or divorced; what is the nature of their employer-paid health care coverage. The IRS is ill equipped to deliver customer satisfaction in addressing disputes or questions with the public, according to key metrics and government surveys. The IRS is also ill equipped to handle the massive staffing and technology ramp-ups required to handle this data,” Chairman Issa told his committee.

According to Issa, under Obamacare, taxpayers will have to provide within 30 days, notification to a government agency about key information in their lives: did they get a raise or take another job; did a family member move into the household; were they married or divorced; what is the nature of their employer-paid health care coverage.

“The IRS is ill equipped to deliver customer satisfaction in addressing disputes or questions with the public, according to key metrics and government surveys. The IRS is also ill equipped to handle the massive staffing and technology ramp-ups required to handle this data,” said Issa.

The IRS executives are witnessing the largest manpower expansion — at least since withholding taxes were first introduced by President Franklin D. Roosevelt during World War II — to enforce the new tax mandates and penalties included in the health care law, according to Rep. Kevin Brady, R-Texas.

According to an analysis by the Joint Economic Committee and the House Ways & Means Committee staff, up to 6,500 new IRS personnel will be necessary to collect, examine and audit new tax information mandated on families and small businesses as a result of the Affordable Care Act.

“When most people think of health care reform they think of more doctor’s exams, not more IRS exams,” said Congressman Brady, a top House Republican on the Joint Economic Committee.

“Isn’t the federal government already intruding enough into our lives? We need thousands of new doctors and nurses in America, not thousands of more IRS agents.”

Do you find yourself pushing hard to succeed, but you just can’t get traction? Why? Could it be you’re working against yourself? I know it sounds strange, but not after I spoke with Tish Squillaro, who co-authored “Headtrash” with Timothy Thomas, on my POPPOFF Radio Show.

They refer to thought patterns and emotional tendencies that hinder our ability to respond to business issues in a productive and professional way. Head trash is the negative voice of your subconscious. With eighteen years of business consulting experience, they have come up with seven traits we need to trash so we can make intelligent, effective decisions in our lives.

They are Fear, Arrogance, Insecurity, Control, Anger, Guilt, and Paranoia. But wait just one minute. How do I talk back to my subconscious? I have trouble enough dealing with my conscious self. I think my paranoia is setting in. They call Tish the CEO Whisperer, so I asked her to whisper in my ear some ways to deal with this head trash and turn it into a positive. Here goes. These are the recommendations for:

1) FEAR: Build up the big decisions—if you have been frozen by fear, your decision making muscles have atrophied. Don’t push too much strain on them all at once. Start by making smaller decisions that are less frightening. Be consistent. That’s the only way real change will take place. Over time you gain confidence you need to make the big decision that probably seemed impossible.

2) ARROGANCE: Cultivate humility—arrogant leaders tend to think of humility as weak. That’s a false perception. Humility means being realistic about yourself, your abilities, your ideas. It means being honest enough to accept your limitations and admit that you are not perfect. You acknowledge that you can, and do make mistakes. Humility is about truth, and if you want to move forward, you need to be firmly rooted in the truth.

3) INSECURITY: Truly embrace compliments­ and Value your Worth—instead of leaping to devaluate yourself. Grab the opportunity to pat yourself on the back after any success. It may be as simple as allowing yourself to accept a compliment without diminishing the praise. Then fan the spark of positive feedback into a small fire that you learn how to feed. If you can’t do it for yourself, find a career coach or counselor who can help you.

4) CONTROL: Look at yourself—and ask yourself if you truly need to be involved. Does this really require your attention? Before you dive into a new timeline consuming initiative, see if you can delegate instead. And if you are sincere about wanting to change, ask yourself the hardest question…”am I getting in the way?”

5) ANGER: Breathe—when you start to feel yourself boil over, stop, breath, and think before you do or say anything you might regret. Are you so enraged that it might be a good idea to leave the room? Fine! Get up and take yourself out of harm’s way. Better than saying or doing something that leaves an indelible. You can always address the issue later, calmer and having thought it through.

6) GUILT: Move on quickly—lingering guilt is the mind’s way of trying to rewrite history and change the outcome which, of course, is impossible. What is done is done. No matter how many times you think about it, or try to resolve it differently, nothing will change. Instead, drop the baggage, hit the pedal, and move forward.

7) PARANOIA: Write it out before you blurt it out—before you explode over a perceived slight to your status. Go back to yourself and ask, “why am I feeling this way?” It is remarkable how sitting quietly with your thoughts and a blank piece of paper or computer screen helps you sort out your emotions. Away from the event, you may find that you are misreading the situation through your own interpretations of fear and doubt.

How is it that, time and again, the most powerful man on the planet doesn’t seem to have a clue what is happening in his own government? Famed for never accepting blame for anything, the more I see President Obama these days, the more I am reminded of Sergeant Hans Schultz of the TV sitcom, “Hogan’s Heroes”, that ran from 1965 to 1971.

The wonderful Hans Banner the actor who played the prisoner of war guard left an indelible legacy with his repeated denials, “I know nothing. I hear nothing, and I see nothing”; often all three at the same time to avoid being implicated in Col. Robert E. Hogan’s manipulation of Werner Klemperer’s Col. Wilhelm Klink, the camp commandant of Luftwaffe Stalag 13.

Obama’s way of dealing with everything has been to talk it to death and he has been responding to questions from the press, claiming that the accusations are all “a sideshow” or that “there’s no there, there.” It is not working. In the case of Benghazi-Gate, his lies are so blatant that it has gone from an embarrassment to a full-fledged cover-up.

Similarly, the Attorney General, Eric Holder, has relied on claiming ignorance and putting distance between himself and his Department of Justice’s increasing list of scandals, from Fast and Furious that earned him a citation for contempt of Congress in June 2012 for his lack of candor.

His latest “I know nothing” testimony regarding the DOJ’s seizure of the phone records of Associated Press editors and reporters makes one wonder why the President continues to retain him in office or, for that matter, why he isn’t in jail for stonewalling about Fast and Furious, an ATF gun-running scheme that got a border patrol and ICE agent killed.

Those of us who follow the President closely know that he has been lying consistently before and since being elected–twice. His two “memoirs” have been picked apart by reporters who have written their own books on the subject. It would appear that Obama picked up the habit of lying early on in life as the son of a Kenyan who had abandoned his mother, the step-son of an Indonesian whom his mother also divorced, and a man who remarkably was a friend or associate of a long list of shady characters you might more likely find in a detective novel.

He dismissed his close friendship with former 60s Weatherman terrorist, Bill Ayers, as someone who lived in his Chicago neighborhood. He had to throw his longtime pastor, Jeremiah Wright, under the bus when it became known he said many bad things about America over the course of the many years Obama was a member of his church. The man who conducted Obama’s wedding and christened his children said of 9/11, “the chickens have come home to roost” as if it was America’s fault it was attacked.

Even so, this is small potatoes compared to the way the many “renewable energy” companies received billions in government loans and rapidly went bankrupt. It turned out that many of the many of the men who created those companies where major “bundlers” and contributors to his 2009 presidential campaign.

Of the most famous bankruptcy, Solyndra, Obama said, “That was not our program, per se. Congress-Democrats and Republicans—put together a loan guarantee program…” Maybe so, but we have not seen such a program lose so much money in such a short time, betting on solar and wind power projects. The taxpayers got stuck with the bill. The number of actual “green” jobs ended up costing over a million dollars each to create.

Of his failed “stimulus” package, Obama said “Apparently there weren’t as many shovel ready jobs as we thought.” Before spending millions to allegedly revive the economy, you are supposed to know such things.

If not Benghazi-Gate, than the IRS targeting of conservative, patriot, and constitution education groups could provide the fulcrum to bring down Obama’s presidency. Despite his denials of knowledge about the program within the IRS to harass and deny these groups non-profit status, vital to raise donations and funding, and the firing of the IRS commissioner, this is a scandal with which ordinary taxpayers can identify, fearful of audits. Imagine now as the realization sinks in that it is the IRS that will be administering Obamacare!

Up to now Obama could count on the mainstream media to ignore much of the blunders, failures and lies that characterized his first term, but the scandals coalescing as his second term begins have a weight that includes the growing unhappiness of the White House press corps who are tired of being lied to or having to listen to press secretary Jay Carney speak to them as if they were a bunch of witless clowns.

It is said that “the fish stinks from the head” and what we are witnessing is an administration whose corrupt political practices have seeped deep into the government agencies for which Obama is responsible.

It is still too soon to know which scandal or combination of scandals will bring down his presidency, but it will only take a few more eye-witnesses and whistle-blowers to turn Obama into the Wizard of Oz, hiding behind the curtain and pulling the levers to fool Dorothy and her pals or, in our case, those of us who still believe laws should be obeyed and power should not be abused.

Benghazi: Where are Gen. Ham and Adm. Gaouette? by JB Williams

It’s now public knowledge that the ever evolving official administration stories on Benghazi are all bold faced lies. It’s clear that the four Americans who were brutally murdered in Benghazi did not have to die. What’’s not clear yet, is who is responsible for these murders?

Nothing the Obama administration has told the people about Benghazi is true… but who is responsible? 

Who knows the whole truth about why Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty along with State Department officials Chris Stevens and Sean Smith died in Benghazi 11 September 2012?

General Carter Ham and Admiral Charles M. Gaouette know the answer to this question. Where are Ham and Gaouette today? Why hasn’’t Issa’s’ investigative committee called these decorated Military officers to testify before the committee investigating Benghazi?

We have known since 30 October 2012 that these two officers…

• Were ordered to STAND DOWN in Benghazi
• Ignored those orders
• Were relieved of duty for refusing orders to STAND DOWN

We know from the unclassified cables between Benghazi and DC and the subsequent Executive Brief, that cables were firing in all directions in the hours before and during the Benghazi attack that ended in the brutal death of four Americans.

General Ham was head of AFRICOM and Commander of the 2011 US-NATO operation to depose Gadhafi in Libya. Rear Admiral Charles M. Gaouette was in command of the Carrier Strike Group Three (CSG-3), then deployed in Middle Eastern waters during the attack on Benghazi.

Both Ham and Gaouette reported receiving the same desperate cables for additional security and backup that Obama administration officials received and ignored from Benghazi. They did not ignore those desperate calls for help ringing out from the Benghazi installation on 11 September 2012.

No, both Ham and Gaouette attempted to launch ready response teams in the region capable of provided the much needed assistance during the seven hour long assault on Benghazi. Both were then relieved of command for their actions, described by the US Military as “allegations of inappropriate leadership judgment.”

General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready to deploy to Benghazi. Then, General Ham received the order to stand down. His response was “screw it,” – he was going to help anyway.

Within minutes after issuing an order to deploy his ready response team, Ham’s second in command apprehended the General and told him that he was now relieved of his command. Ham knows who issued the order to STAND DOWN as well as the order to relieve him of his command at AFRICOM.

Adm. Gaouette had also received the startling requests for support as the attack unfolded in Benghazi. Like Ham, he readied a response from Carrier Strike Group Three (CSG-3). Gaouette was also ordered to STAND DOWN and like Ham, he decided to refuse those orders. Gaouette readied vital intelligence and communications operations for an extraction effort to be launched by Ham.

Stars and Stripes reported October 18, 2012 that General Ham is being replaced by Gen. David Rodriguez. They also reported on October 27, 2012 that Adm. Gaouette is being replaced by Rear Adm. Troy M. Shoemaker. The Navy stated that it was “replacing the admiral in command of an aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, pending the outcome of an internal investigation into undisclosed allegations of inappropriate judgment.”

What were the “inappropriate judgments” of these two decorated Military leaders? Rear Adm. John Kirby, the Navy’s chief spokesman, declined to discuss the investigation.

What we know is that these two highly unusual acts to remove two highly decorated commanders is related to the 11 September 2012 strike on Benghazi. We also know that the congressional investigation has not yet called these valiant men in to give testimony.

We know that months’ worth of warnings and requests for additional security at Benghazi we ignored and denied by the Clinton run State Department and that someone gave the DoD order to STAND DOWN when American troops were in the region and ready to assist.

We know that the Obama administration manufactured a lie about some obscure anti-Islam youtube clip that had nothing whatsoever to do with the events of 11 September 2012 Benghazi. We know that the Obama administration is holding that filmmaker in prison today. We know that Benghazi survivors have been threatened and silenced.

But most of all, we know that Gen. Ham and Adm. Gaouette can provide very real answers to a laundry list of very important questions regarding the Benghazi attacks and Issa’s alleged investigation.

On 23 April 2013, Five House Committees investigating Benghazi issued a joint Interim Progress Report. In it, all five committees fail to ask the right questions and all five demonstrate a clear intent to keep the truth about Benghazi under wraps, though the report does confirm almost everything stated herein.

The attack in Benghazi of 11 September, 2012 is now almost eight months old and yet, the truth about that attack is still a distant fog sheltered by government officials engaged in blatant obstruction of justice, made possible by the help of a totally incompetent or complicit press.

If you want to know what really happened in Benghazi, demand that Issa’’s congressional committee subpoena both Gen. Ham and Adm. Gaouette to testify before the House Committee on Oversight & Government Reform.

And then, recall Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta once Ham and Gaouette have testified.

Someone is responsible for the murder of Americans in Benghazi and the lies that followed. That someone, in fact all who are involved in the Benghazi murder and the cover up, must be held fully accountable.

Al-Qaeda ally assassinates Christian leader in Nigeria by Jim Kouri

Members of the al-Qaeda-affilated Boko Haram allegedly assassinated a Christian leader on Tuesday in Nigeria’s northeast Borno State, according to an Israeli police intelligence analyst who monitors African Islamist groups.

According to a spokesman from the National President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev Ayo Oritsajafor, Rev Faye Pama Musa was shot dead at about 7:30 p.m. local time on Tuesday at his residence in Maiduguri by Boko Haram jihadists.

“The Borno CAN secretary has been killed. We’ve got the report and the national president received it with heavy heart. It is very sad,” the spokesperson added in a statement.

While Al-Qaeda and its affiliates are attacking governments in North African nations, the Obama administration continues to downplay the threat of Islamic terrorism.

The Israeli police source, Jacob Moskowitz, said that there were reports that the deceased Christian pastor had “attempted to run away but his assailants caught him and they “shot him at close range.”

The killing of the popular Christian pastor occurred shortly after Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan declared a state of emergency in the most troubled states in the northeast part of the country where Boko Haram is believed strongest.

The states most at risk for Boko Haram attacks are Yobe, Adamawa, and Borno, the source noted.

Also on Monday, the Boko Haram sect claimed responsibility for the recent major assault on Baga and Bama, in Borno state, in which up to 200 people, including soldiers, policemen, prison warders and civilians, were massacred.

The Islamic jihad in Nigeria started as a riot in 2009 by members of an Islamist group known as Boko Haram. That first encounter turned into a full-blown gun-fight between Boko Haram and its supporters and the police and the military.

Since 2010, Islamists have perpetrated drive-by shootings and suicide bombings that have killed 1,548 people.

Boko Haram, which means “Western education is sacrilege,” has said it wants its imprisoned Islamists released and for the current Nigerian government to institute Sharia law throughout the nation.

People in the Washington, DC area like to worry. Part of it’s because leftists are required to show “concern” about the darnedest things and part of it is because a large government workforce has to discover something to do or at least find a way to look busy.

For example, the National Weather Service suffered a crippling budget cut of about 3 percent when the sequester went into effect. I had assumed that after the cut hit, a spokesperson would inform us there would be no more rain or rainbows due to evil Republican budget cuts.

Instead the service is now under a hiring freeze and unable to begin what the WaPost called “a major pilot project aimed at helping the local community prepare for extreme weather.”

For those of you who tuned in late, “extreme weather” is what used to be “global warming” before it stopped getting warm.

According to the Post, “Previously, the emergency response meteorologists were tasked to assist “on the scene” during major weather events, offering on-demand briefings to emergency managers and stakeholders. They also were charged with developing more event-specific forecasts, explaining possible impacts in detail, and getting key messages out using new communication technologies and social media.”

In laymen’s terms this means highly–paid government meteorologists would appear during a hurricane or tornado to tell damp citizens with frizzy hair that they had just been hit by a hurricane or tornado. The weather people would then pass out small, waterproof maps with colorful depictions of pressure zones and isobars. Then advise survivors to take shelter, cut down on salt and keep hydrated. Once the citizens were dispersed, the weather service employees would be free to teach elected officials how to post heroic photos of themselves in galoshes on Twitter.

How they intend to accomplish this without power remains to be seen. A more practical plan would involve teaching Pepco customers how to buy and install a generator, since long term loss of electricity is much more common here than severe weather.

Somehow, Oklahomans have managed to endure weather without federal intervention. Twice during my youth I lived in Duncan, OK. Smack dab in the middle of tornado alley. In spite of the fact we did not have weather service types parachuting in to state the obvious, we managed to survive. The municipal tornado siren sounded, you picked up the babies, grabbed the old ladies and headed for the nearest tornado/bomb shelter or leaped in a nearby bar ditch.

I distinctly remember one evening when we gathered in our neighbor’s backyard shelter to wait out the alert. Since I was just a kid, I had no idea how long a tornado lasted. My idea of a long duration was waiting for Christmas and that took forever.

What’s more, I was a chubby kid who suffered “food anxiety” before it came to Michelle Obama’s attention. Not wanting to add hunger pangs to potential tornado problems, I filled my pockets with cheddar cheese. (It could have been that I also wanted to prevent diarrhea, but my memory is fuzzy.) This caused something of a commotion later in the week when Mom opened the washer and saw the laundry looked like nachos.

So without the weather service to gin up worry, the media here has turned to the insect world and found this summer will mark the return of the cicada. Cicadas sleep underground for 17 years and then emerge blinking into the sunlight, looking for sex and a square meal. This alone would make the cicada a perfect mascot for the less motivated federal bureaucrat.

Insects on the make would not normally be an issue for the front page of the Metro section. What makes the cicadas newsworthy is they return in the billions. They cover the landscape and make a loud buzzing sound to attract a mate, similar to disco but without  mirror balls.

The insects are about an inch long with red eyes. The outer shell is crunchy but they’re soft on the inside, much like a Democrat. The reporter even found publicity–hungry omnivore who claimed he eats cicadas. His recipe calls for sautéing them with lemon and butter. I can’t remember if he serves the finished product with MD–20/20 or WD–40.

After sex cicadas don’t smoke, which would at least shut them up, instead they eat the shrubbery. I actually saw a handful while walking the dogs, but the density did not begin to approach the 1,000,000/acre of which the WaPost warned. Maybe these were scouts, wary of people with frying pans.

The important part of the infestation for our purposes is that I’ve been inspired to write another song. This time to the tune of the Angel’s “My Boyfriend’s Back.”
