The President, his white house and administration seem to have no respect for what the U.S. taxpayers think.
During his Christmas Vacation in Hawaii, the taxpayers paid for him to have a 10-vehicle convoy to visit a childhood friend rather then bringing the friend to President
Obama.
According to the Hawaii Reporter, the bill for the total trip included:
- $63,000 on an early flight bringing Mrs Obama and the children to Hawaii ahead of the president.
- $1,000,000 on Mr Obama’s return trip from Washington on Air Force One.
- $38,000 for the ‘Winter White House’ the president has rented for his family on the beach
- $16,000 to rent beachfront homes for Secret Service and Navy Seals
- $134,000 for 24 White House staff to stay at the Moana Hotel
- $251,000 in police overtime.
- $10,000 for an ambulance to be on hand at all times
Apparently, the media has developed a different standard of accountability for President Obama then for any other President in U.S. history.
While Americans struggle to make ends meet Obama snubs his nose at the taxpayer and spend $1.5 million on his one of many vacations.
Pay particular attention to the accompanying photo. A resident motorist is reported to have flipped off the president while passing the motorcade.
